Compliance

DD&F performs compliance reviews utilizing a risk-based approach focusing on consumer compliance laws and regulations. Each review is designed to evaluate the bank's compliance performance and to assess the effectiveness of current compliance policies and operating procedures.

Early detection of regulatory violations and deviations from established policies or deficiencies in operating procedures is crucial to minimizing the potential risk of regulatory criticism and consumer litigation. At the conclusion of each review, a DD&F representative will meet with management to discuss specific findings and recommendations. Particular emphasis will be placed on substantive, material, or recurring violations identified, as well as the appropriate actions to correct those deficiencies.

We will also prepare a written report to your director that describes the scope of the review, identifies specific areas of compliance and non-compliance, and provides recommendations to management for enhancing consumer compliance.
