Strategic Planning

DD&F has facilitated the strategic planning process for a wide range of bank sizes and situations. This experience allows us to share unique insight into strategic initiatives based not just on your bank, but on the entire industry. Our strategic planning process can help your management and board evaluate strengths and weaknesses, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and achieve short and long-term goals while avoiding common pitfalls.

Our process begins with a self-evaluation by management and directors of the bank's performance, capabilities, and challenges. Based on this input, we will guide your planning team in strategically evaluating the following questions:

  • Where have we been?
  • Where are we now?
  • Where do we want to be?
  • How do we get there?

Following our strategic planning session, we will provide your organization with a written strategic plan with short and long term goals and performance measures to assess your progress.

DD&F tailors the planning process to suit you. We work with your management team to design the planning sessions or retreat and determine our role. We can be as involved as your needs dictate, from serving as a facilitator at planning retreats to acting as a project coordinator for the planning process.
