Bob Fegtly, CVA, is one of the original founding partners of DD&F Consulting Group and serves as Managing Partner over Mergers & Acquisitions and Valuations. He has over 35 years of experience including FDIC assisted transactions, traditional holding company and subsidiary acquisitions and sales as well as whole bank and branch transactions. He has developed an expertise in financial and quantitative analysis and has overseen hundreds of acquisitions for financial institutions and their branch networks. Bob is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

When not crunching numbers or deal-wrangling, it’s a pretty safe bet you’ll find Bob at his lake house with his wife, Karman, and their two college-aged daughters.  He and his family are also actively involved in mission trips to Peru and Kenya.

Professional Experience

  • Mergers and Acquisitions of Bank and Thrift Charters
    Served as Principal on mergers, acquisitions and change in controls for over 35 years on various transaction types including cash, stock and asset purchases or combinations thereof, and holding company and whole bank acquisitions and sales. Services provided for financial institutions include the development of marketing packages, preparation of financial analyses to determine the effect of sales or purchases, negotiation of final purchase or sale price, coordination of due diligence and providing guidance in the closing process for transactions.

  • Branch Sales and Acquisitions
    Served as Principal of over 200 branch sales and acquisitions through the development of marketing packages, preparation of financial analyses to determine the effect of sales or purchases, coordination of due diligence and provision of services throughout the closing process.

  • Business Plans and Corporate Planning
    Served as Principal and Financial Analyst for over 100 clients, assisting in the analysis and projection of financial results based on corporate objectives and regulatory compliance for both private and SEC reporting companies.

Served as Senior Consultant on various acquisition teams, specializing in mergers and acquisitions of financial institutions, including holding company and subsidiary acquisitions and sales, whole bank and branch transactions. 1983 to 1993.
